Laura Preece
Laura has always looked at the world through a creative lens, which is displayed in the distinctive style of her artwork. She loves to bring art materials with her wherever she goes. Whether it is on a train, in a foreign café, or in a park, she loves combining her two passions, art and travel. Laura grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a double major in Spanish and Interpersonal Communication. After graduating in 2009, Laura began traveling internationally.
She has since lived in the Netherlands, Spain, and most recently, Finland. Greeting cards and photography have been a meaningful way for Laura to log her travels and to keep in touch with friends and family back home. In addition, Laura also enjoys painting, sketching, wood burning, and sewing. See more of Laura’s work on her Etsy website under the shop name YellowMesa. Her creative artwork is featured on our Strathmore® Creative Cards and Strathmore® Clear Plastic Sleeves.

Ann Marie Meuleners
A native of a rural area outside the Twin Cities, Ann's perception of the world was greatly influenced by the nature, wildlife and dramatic change of seasons in Minnesota.
She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of St. Catherine, and taught for 30 years. During that time she took artist workshops and college classes which inspired her to work on various methods of portraying a painting. Ann is currently a resident of Glen Ellen, CA, a member of a local art society in Sonoma, and shows her works at local markets and festivals, as well as on her Etsy store annmariewatercolors.
Landscapes, florals, portraits and an abstract or two are all favorite subject matter. Ann has a passion to emphasize full, rich colors and a free expression within her paintings. She created the watercolor artwork featured on our Strathmore® Watercolor Cards.
Caroline Ashwood
Caroline is a full time artist who works from a countryside studio in Yorkshire, England. Through her work, she constantly explores the relationship between colour, light and form. Even though her earliest formal art studies stressed the importance of drawing and draughtsmanship to serious artistic endeavour, it was only when she ventured away from literal points of reference that she began to discover the visceral impact to be enjoyed in the luminance, shapes and hues of glorious nature.
Caroline's work is featured in many private collections worldwide and she has exhibited in galleries and shows throughout the UK. She created the artwork featured on our Strathmore® Canvas Cards.
